All Shires is owned and run by Jon and Liz Coleman. We started our business after many years in the corporate world but always new that there was more for us than the office life. Jon was a director of an office supplies company for a long time but originally started his career in the great outdoors. It turns out, this is where he was destined to work again so, it was goodbye computer pen and paper and hello lawn mower and hedge cutter! He has never looked back and loves the work he does and the customer satisfaction he gains from it.

 

‘I have never loved my work like I do now, I’m just so pleased I found what I really wanted to do and made the leap of faith to make it happen! One of the biggest satisfactions is seeing the result of a well mowed lawn with those stripes running through it and a very happy customer. Hedge cutting and tree pruning is also a passion of mine, believe it or not it’s so diverse. One day I can be pollarding an apple tree or pear tree, another I can be doing a row of low holly bushes and laurels and the next working at height trimming conifer and yew trees!
